Rebel (originally the Docks Nightclub & Concert Theater and then Sound Academy) is a nightclub and concert venue located on the Polson Pier in Toronto, Canada.

Relaunched in October 2016 as Rebel Night Club, the complex resides on the edge of Lake Ontario overlooking the Toronto city skyline. The main room boasts a 65-foot stage with an expansive installation of LED video walls as well as outdoor grand terraces. The mezzanine hosts the central bar which includes built-in seating and is one of the best Toronto Clubs.

DRESS CODE What should I wear to Rebel Toronto Nightclub?

Dress code is fashionable attire. Rebel does not permit hats, satchels, man bags, pouches, fanny packs, athletic wear such as jerseys, shorts, track pants or baggy clothing or Gang Colours and Gang Apparel. Management reserves all rights to refuse entry.

Does Rebel Toronto have coat check?

Coat Check is available on site for a small fee. Please note that liability for the loss of, or damage to any items will be a maximum of $250.00.

While small purses and clutches are allowed, they must not exceed 6" x 8" in size. Backpacks, large bags, and other similar items are not permitted.

Professional Cameras, DSLR’s, Video Cameras, Laptops, iPads are not permitted on site unless you have pre-approved press accreditation. Rebel can not store these devices for you and we are not able to coat check prohibited items. Water Bottles and Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Gardiner Expressway E to Lakeshore Blvd E. Take the Jarvis Street exit from Gardiner Expy E. Keep right to continue toward Lake Shore Blvd E. Continue on Lake Shore Blvd E and make a slight right onto Cherry Street. Turn right onto Polson Street.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS

Walk to Wellington St W at Bay St. and take bus route #72A Pape (Pape Station/Union Station via Commissioners). Get off at Commissioners St at Cherry St (East side of street).
